On April 23, a delegation from the Ministry of Education in Belize met with ATA President Carol Henderson, Professional Development Coordinator Michael Podlosky and ATA Executive Staff Officer Françoise Ruban. Minister Faber was impressed by the professional development services and programs offered by the ATA. The delegation, sponsored by the Rotary District 5370 Literacy Program, participated in a two-day seminar on distributed learning, attended a luncheon at Government House with Education Minister David Hancock and visited the Alberta Distance Learning Centre, in Barrhead.
